We specialise in all European and Japanese motorbikes from early 1990's to mid 2000's .Disclaimers
All motorcycles for sale are insurance write-off salvages unless otherwise stated. The registration on these motorcycles has been cancelled, registration plates have been handed in to the RTA and a WOVA (Written off Vehicle Advice) with damage coding has been lodged with the RTA in the relevant state by the insurance company.R = Repairable Write-off
This motorcycle requires a blue slip for an insurance write-off (available anywhere standard blue slips are available) before it can be re-registered. As a part of the anti theft measures taken on by the RTA you may be required to produce receipts for any repairs, replacement parts and/or materials purchased to carry out repairs to the motorcycle. At the time of re-registration the RTA will request an Auvis (Authorised Unregistered Vehicle Inspection Station) check. The RTA also conduct VIIU (Vehicle Identity Inspection Unit) checks on all vehicles that have been entered on WOVR (Written off Vehicle Register) . These checks are to ensure the identity of the motorcycle has not been altered or tempered with in anyway.
The RTA currently charge a $55.00 Booking Fee (Non refundable unless more than 24hrs notice of cancellation is given) and a $351.00 Inspection Fee (Refundable upon cancellation) for all VIIU inspections on vehicles entered on WOVR.
This motorcycle is a statutory write-off and cannot be re-registered. These motorcycles are suitable for wrecking or track. If you intend to use the vehicle for track it is best to ensure that you keep your receipt safe as random checks on motorcycles are carried out at various events around Australia.Warranties
All motorcycles are salvages and are sold as is. NO warranty is expressed or implied. We do not alter the motorcycles in anyway. We do not carry out damage inspections on any of the motorcycles nor can we provide a list of repairs required. We endeavour to show all the visible damage to the motorcycles in the photographs and we disclose any non visible damage we know about in the descriptions on this website however with all accident damaged motorcycles there is a possibility of hidden damage. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to attend our showroom and inspect the motorcycle for damage prior to tendering. As always it is advisable that a frame check is carried out on any accident damaged motorcycle.Accessories
If the motorcycle you are tendering on has any non standard accessory that affects the tender price offered or is a significant factor in your decision to purchase the motorcycles please contact our office to ensure the item is still with the motorcycle prior to tendering. Salvages are photographed at the time of the write-off and then transported to our storage unit Occasionally an after market accessory or a rack etc. than is later found to be not covered by the policy will be shown in the photographs. The previous owner of the motorcycle is entitled to attend our storage unit and remove the after market item and replace it with a standard item. We do our best to ensure new photographs are taken prior to advertising however with our high turn over rate it is possible to inadvertently miss one.Keys
